Nail Artist

I grew up always liking the arts, from drawing to singing to acting. Nails, music, and tattoos continue to be an outlet for my passions. I graduated from TriCenter in 2008 and quickly went out to explore the world. After graduating, I served in the Navy, and i spent time traveling, working in different fields along the way. Although I enjoyed living in bigger cities, my husband and I recently moved back to the area to be part of a community and start a family. We enjoy playing slow-pitch softball and spending time with our pets.

I started doing my own nails when I was a kid. It quickly branched to friends and family. During the 2020 shutdown, I began extending my skills to include shellac and acrylic drill work since the nail salons were closed, meaning I had to do it myself. It didn’t take long to discover that my artistic abilities really came through my nails. It was finally time to make it official and get certified. I attended Vibrant Nail Academy and Spa to hone my skills. I am excited to turn my part-time passion into a full-time career, bringing my talent, attention to detail, and spirit to my Boss Bar clientele.

I grew up hanging around my aunts salon in Woodbine. Started cutting some friends hair at the age of 14 and have been interested in it ever since. Now I have over 15 years of experience and I enjoy meeting and getting to know new people, I love the connection that it has helped me maintain to the my hometown community of Woodbine. I also look forward to creating the same connection here in my new hometown of Underwood.

Hi! I’m Erin Johnsen, one of the owners of Boss Bar and Spa. I’ve been in the clean beauty sales industry for over a decade and now I get to bring this passion to our community on a grander scale!

My husband Max and I have 4 beautiful babes, we farm in Underwood, and wear a few other hats that include Johnsen Freight, Wild Magnolias Bakery, our children‘s personal chauffeur and their social planner. I currently sit on the UCSD board, and am continually trying to involve myself and family into our community as I want to see our friends and family have a wonderful place to call home and a place we can be proud to raise our children in.

My goal is to help anyone who steps into Boss feel like one. I want to give our professionals the best products on the market to work with, continuing education opportunities and a place that they enjoy coming to everyday. I want to give our clients the relaxing environment that everyone deserves to experience, as self care is exponentially important as we all navigate our busy lives.

I’m a mom of two awesome kiddos. I volunteer at UMBA and coordinate the 4th of July. I’m a huge proponent of supporting the town in which I live and planting my roots. Thanks to the support from my amazing husband I’m able to do all the things!

My goal is to help anyone who steps into Boss feel like one! Help them grow their brand and clients. I’ll also be focused on staying involved and executing events on behalf of the salon as well.

Hi! I’m Jodi Bose and I’m one of the owners of Boss Bar and Spa.

I have a very supportive Husband and Four kids that keep us very busy with sporting events and fishing tournaments! Being my own Boss has always been a passion of mine which has driven me down a path of entrepreneurship. I love building, creating, and designing which you will see the second you walk in to Boss Bar and Spa!

I worked at the country store in Underwood when I was 17 years old, I was a frequent flyer of the Hide A Way, then Friends when it was a hopping Bar and Grill. I know this community will support its own- as we did back then. The saying if you build it, they will come is a true statement for this town and I have no doubt Boss Bar and Spa will be just as successful as the business before us!

If you know me, you know I’m the last Camenzind Girl you’ll find in a salon BUT I’ve made it a priority to change my mindset and move self-care to the top of the list because at the end of the day- you owe it to yourself and to your family to be the Best You Possible! I truly believe Boss will help be that place for many people in this community!
